Christmas is coming, and members of the executive and directors for The Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club invite you to join them for a Christmas get together and luncheon at the Oliver Woods Community Centre on Sunday, December 2, 2018.

You may be surprised to know that this year, our very own board members will roll up their sleeves and prepare our turkey dinner.  That’s right, our board members are getting into the Christmas spirit by volunteering their time and applying their talents for our members enjoyment.

Tickets are $20/person and will be sold at our AGM on Sunday, November 18 at the clubhouse. Tickets may also be reserved by contacting me at ac.wa1544495743hs@ie1544495743suolu1544495743ot1544495743.

A full turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served “buffet style”. Doors will be open at 1:30 pm and lunch will be served at approximately 2:30 pm following the “meet and greet”.

In the spirit of giving, we will be accepting donations of food items and/or cash for the Food Bank.

So looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Jason in the semifinals!

After a very strong start winning many of his games, sadly Jason will be coming home without a medal.  But he is coming home with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to try again next year.  Good effort, Jason.  We are all proud of you.
