Coaching and Skill Development for youth and new bowlers

Learn lawn bowling or develop your skills further at these Sunday afternoon sessions (running concurrently with the Sunday Tea and Bowls).  Wear flat-soled shoes and comfortable attire.  We will supply the bowls for beginners.  Check in at 1:15 pm and you will be assigned a certified coach who will assess your needs and take you on the green for a whole load of fun.  Note:  there are no sessions during tournament weekends.  Individualized sessions may be set up with your assigned coach at a time to suit you both.

Sunday Tea and Bowls

Enjoy a leisurely game of bowls on Sunday afternoons.  Tags in at 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm start.  Using a draw format we play 6 ends followed by tea and goodies then enjoy another 6 ends of bowls.  Newcomers to lawn bowls and anyone who enjoys the leisurely side of bowling will find this an ideal way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the park.  There is no charge for this event, and you are encouraged to contribute a few goodies from time to time to share over a cup of tea.
